Demos are timed and end after a few minutes, but
otherwise they are the same as the full game.

How to Play UFO Carnage

  • Allow teams to choose their UFO and their team's color.

  • Ask a question to the teams at the same time.

  • Follow the on screen instructions and select the team that answered the question.

  • You'll be taken to that team's UFO and city.  The UFO moves back and forth until it is stopped.

  • A student from the team that answered comes should press the flashing red button to have their UFO fire its laser at a building below it.

  • If timed correctly, the laser will hit a building and destroy it.

  • Play until a team destroys all of the buildings in their city.  That team wins.

Game Modes Available in UFO Carnage

Team Versus Mode: Two teams compete to answer questions in order to be the first to destroy a city.

UFO Grabber: This is a free play game mode and is somewhat similar to a UFO grabber crane game.  The UFO moves back and forth and students must stop it in order to pick up a number.  Before playing you should assign a picture or task to each number.  When grabbed the student must make a sentence, say the picture, or complete another task that you have designated for that number.  Award points accordingly.  This mode has a lot of flexibility so you can make up any sorts of rules tha you like and you could even play it as a team game.
