Guess the Monsters as I Draw Them Line by Line

Hi there! Halloween continues here on Happy Everyday English with this Guess the Monsters video. In this video, I draw monsters line by line and your students try to guess what the animals are before the picture finishes.

Monsters in order of appearance: 1. ghost 2. mummy 3. werewolf 4. vampire 5. clown (he's kind of creepy) 6. monster (yup, just monster) 7. alien 8. witch 9. grim reaper 10. zombie

You can check out the video here:

If you'd like to use this video in your class but you don't have an active internet connection or access to youtube there, copy the link to this page and you'll be able to download it.

How to play:

  1. Divide your class into teams. Any number of teams is OK. Make sure that all of your students have a clear view of the board.

  2. Play the video.

  3. When a picture is being drawn/created the teams should try and guess the picture as quick as possible.

  4. When a student guesses the picture correctly, pause the video. Award that team points equal to the remaining seconds shown in the top left corner.

  5. Play the video and continue. Repeat steps 2-4 until all pictures have been guessed.

And that's it! It's that easy.
