About this Game
Snakes and Ladders is a classic board game known all over the world. Two to four teams compete to reach the end of the board. They must avoid snakes that want to eat them all the while trying to climb ladders that lead to higher spaces on the game board. The first team that reaches the end wins!

How to Play Snakes and Ladders
Ask a question to a team or to all of the teams.
The team that answers the question rolls the die.
That team's token moves accordingly.
If that team's token lands on a snake, it will eat that token and send them back down the board.
If the team lands on a ladder, they will climb the ladder and take a shortcut on the board.
The first team to advance to the win space, wins!

Game Modes Available in Snakes and Ladders
Team Mode: 2-4 teams compete to reach the win space at the top of the game board.
The games available from Happy Everyday English can only be played on Windows computers.
No installation necessary.
No internet connection needed to play.
Random Die: Just like a real die, the results on the die in game are completely random.
Tokens advance on their own.
Snakes eat the player tokens automatically.
Player tokens climb the ladders automatically.
If a team advances to the win space, that team's token will have a victory dance, cheering for that team.
Freely choose team order: The order in which teams play is completely up to you the teacher. You can have teams take turns one by one or even compete to answer all of the questions at once. The turn order is up to you.
Question Prompts: There are four question prompts that you can use when playing this game. You can change between these at will. The game download includes directions on how to prepare prompts 2-4.
No prompt: Simply ask a question to your students without a prompt in the game. Ask any question you like. Using this mode takes no preperation before starting the game.
Text Question Prompt: Prepare text questions and answers in advance using the included text document file. This prompt will display your prepared questions when playing.
Picture Prompt: This prompt displays pictures that you've prepared in advance.
Keyword Prompt: This prompt displays a set of keywords that you've prepared in advance.
