About this Game

In Pearl Finder, students must find the magic pearls to power their submarine so that they can return to the surface of the ocean. If you're familiar with the classic clamshell/cup game, you know how this works. Keep your eye on the prize! Don't lose site of the pearl. Can be played as an entire class or with teams.

Try before you buy.

Download the free demo for this game as well as
other games from Happy Everyday English here.
Demos are timed and end after a few minutes, but
otherwise they are the same as the full game.

How to Play Pearl Finder

  • Depending on the mode, ask a question to a team, the class, or a student.

  • The party that answered correctly should watch carefully as the pearl is hidden in one of the clam shells.  The shells will be shuffled around so they must watch carefully.

  • Once clams have stopped shuffling around, a representative of that party should come and select the clam that they believe the pearl is hiding in.

  • Repeat the above process until a party wins or the entire class loses.
